The conference venue and the program schedule aim to provide daily opportunities that promote conversation, networking and social engagement.
- On Friday, after the opening session and keynote speaker at 3 pm, there will be an opportunity to mingle with participants in the International Geography Olympiad (iGeo) at their Poster Session, followed by a reception (7:00 – 10:00 PM) with iGeo Team Leaders.
- On Saturday evening we will have dinner at Université Laval (5:00 – 7:00 PM). The meal is included in your registration fee (with alcoholic beverages at your own expense). In the evening you will have the choice to go to the iGEO cultural evening (7:30 – 9:00 PM), join a discovery tour of Québec City, or simply enjoy some free time. Details for the discovery tour of Québec City will be posted on the Conference website before the end of May, so please stay tuned!
- On Sunday, after lunch, the conference dedicates a period to workshop sessions and breakout groups (1:30 – 3:00 PM).
- We anticipate that you will want to continue with your conversations on Monday, 9:00 – 12:00 AM over a hot breakfast.
